Gurupornima - Vyaspornima

Gururbrahma Gururvishnu Gururdevo Maheshwara: ||

Guru Sakshat Param Brahma Tasmai Shri Gurve Namah: ||.

The whole world knows the Guru tradition that has been going on uninterruptedly since the era of Maharshi Vyas.

A Guru is a Sadguru who removes the darkness of ignorance and leads to the light of knowledge. Without a Guru, life has no speed and no end. The place of the Guru is uniquely ordinary in our lives. The Sadguru who destroys the life of the soul and leads him to the path of righteousness, touch the iron and it becomes gold, and continue to follow the path of Parmartha by giving proper guidance for the benefit of the seeker. The Guru is passionate about the seeker. They have courtesy, cheerfulness, honesty, integrity. Yes, this is exactly what the seeker should learn from the Guru throughout his life, so that if the lamp of enlightenment of the Sadguru is kept close by, life will never be dark.

Other knowledge in life does not matter much without the grace of the Guru. We will see the supernatural work of the great luminaries who, like you, instantly assimilated all these things and paved the way for the lives of many.

Sadguru Chaitanyaswarup Bhalchandra Dattatreya Limaye (Anna) and Sadguru Lakshmiswarup Sushma Bhalchandra Limaye (Aai) both inherited Sadguru Seva and started the celebration of Gurupournima with determination at the feet of Shri Swami Samarth. At the feet of Anna's Sadguru Raosaheb Sahastrabuddhe, continued this tradition. This glorious tradition has led many devotees to the path of devotion and made life meaningful with the sweetness of Swami naam.

Devotees experienced the Atmajyoti of Sadguru with their Atmajyoti and even today this tradition is very important for the devotees to express their gratitude towards Sadguru on the day of Gurupournima.

The simple storyline of the same festival is as follows:
Arrival of Paduka at Nandivali Math at 7 am from Ganesh Krupa, after that, when the paduka is placed, the utsav is started with the cheers of the Swami Maharaj by lighting the big lamps.
Morning 7.30 am to 10 am Mahapuja, Sahastranamavali, Manaspuja. The names of the couple are mentioned in the lots during the meeting are honoured for the Pooja’s (In the meeting of Gurupournima festival, whose names have been mentioned by the order of Swami are drawn and the worship is honoured).
After that, Padyapuja of Sadguru Anna and Aai, who made his life golden and gave him a feeling of happiness on the path of Sanmarga. For that too the names which came in the lots during the meeting only those will get this golden opportunity to perform the Pooja
After this, the seekers who have been given the Guru Mantra by Sadguru Anna are checked and after getting the right guidance, the collective chanting of the Guru Mantra is done by sitting in a meditative posture with closed eyes. This guidance provides a different source of experience and energy. After that, the devotees are eager to hear the supernatural thoughts of the blessed Sadguru. The special thing to say is that this is the only opportunity to bow your head and salute on this day at the feet of the Guru
Naivedya and Mahaprasad start at 12 noon
From 2.30 pm to 4 pm, the Sevakari Vrinda of the Mandal itself makes a beautiful plan to offer this series of hymns, songs or discussions on the Sadguru's feet in the form of Gurudakshina. And such Gurudakshina is very dear to the Guru. Sadguru becomes compassionate and gives away the kingdom of Trilokya with pure intention.
Successful 10th and 12th class students are felicitated at 5 pm. Also, those who serve Swami in a way that is consistent with what they see are humbly chosen to remain behind the scenes. And now in this great work -body, mind, occasionally through money, sevekari's who prove their superiority are also duly honored. Many families have witnessed this devotional and unique ceremony for many years and are doing this service for the purpose of making their lives meaningful
After performing Aarti at 6.30 pm, the palanquin is departed from Nandivali Math Vastu towards Ganesh Krupa at Sadguru's residence.
